The second annual Two Spirit Powwow is taking place at Kelowna's City Park to end Kelowna Pride Month on Saturday, June 28.

Inclusion, connection, Indigenous culture and more will be celebrated at the second annual Two Spirit Powwow in Kelowna.

After the inaugural event last year was a success with more than 600 people in attendance, this year promises to be bigger and more inclusive. Additionally, there will be dedicated time throughout the day to honour the past, present, and future of Two Spirit people.

Taking place at City Park on Saturday, June 28, the event is one of the last Kelowna Pride Month events.

There will be many Indigenous vendors and artists, a dance circle, food trucks, and more. Some other event highlights include: Two Spirit Special, All Gender Special, Tiny Tot Special, Crowning of 2S Royalty, and Accessible Facilities & ASL Interpretation.

The event takes place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

More information can be found on the Kelowna Pride website, including applying to be a vendor at the event.
