Around 200 Grade 12 students gathered at the Strathcona Gardens to celebrate an ending of one chapter and the beginning of another, as they graduate from Carihi Secondary School.
Wei Wai Kum Chief Roberts and the Ripple Rock Drummers welcomed the new adults into the arena on June 25. Principal Sean McLaughlin then addressed the sitting students with encouraging words as they embark on their future.
After the diplomas were awarded, valedictorian Xavier Bell spoke to his class.
"Since we started school 13 years ago, we've come so far," he began.
