More than 200 people came out to release butterflies in memory of loved ones during an annual event in Abbotsford on Saturday.
The Abbotsford Hospice and Grief Society's Memorial Butterfly Release took place at Tuscan Farm Gardens on June 21.
"Together, we honour the memories of our loved ones in the most beautiful way - with wings of hope, love, and remembrance," the society stated.
The event was a time for families and individuals to “reflect, heal and connect as we release butterflies in memory of those we hold close to our hearts.”
