The Rotary Club of Parksville came through for the Salvation Army recently.

According to spokesperson Diana Matsuda, a water tank at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen suddenly failed and funds from the Rotary Bottle Drop were used to make a timely donation.

The funds allowed the Salvation Army to begin a speedy repair and continued the Soup Kitchen operations.
