The No. 7 Baldwin steam locomotive was put through its paces during a practice run along the waterfront on Monday, June 16, 2025.
Volunteers with the Alberni Pacific Railway took the locie and four passenger cars for an out-and-back trek from the roundhouse to Harbour Road.
The steam train will make special weekend runs throughout the summer, starting with the Canada Day long weekend, June 29-30 and July 1. Check ticket info online at albernipacificrailway.ca.
