The Third Annual Holiday Truck Parade will light up the Bella Coola Valley on Saturday, Dec. 16.
Departing from ACW parking lot at 5 p.m. the parade will go through 4-mile, then to downtown, arriving at about 6 p.m.
At BCE there will be hot chocolate, community togetherness and food.
Anyone wanting to participate in the parade can arrive at the parking lot of ACW for decorating and extra lights at 4 p.m. \
Following the parade there will be a soup/chili competition at the BCE gym where locals can show off their favourite recipe.
Donations and volunteers are very welcome.
“Without all the people in our wonderful valley, a night like this wouldn’t be possible,” notes an information bulletin about the event.
In its first year the parade had nine trucks, in the second year 37.
“Let the trucks’ bright lights bring us closer together as we wait for longer days to come again.
