The War Up Close & Arts exhibit came to Castlegar last weekend. Visitors were taken to the front lines of the Ukraine War through a virtual reality experience as well as the photo exhibition Eyes of Mariupol and artwork by children from The Sunflower Dreams Project. Each piece art piece is a small story of children who lived in now-destroyed homes in the war-torn east and south of Ukraine and are now living as refugees in their own land.
