The Palace Band will perform at the Errington Hall Halloween dance on Oct. 26.

Prepare to be blown away by both the theatrics and the music of the Palace Band on Oct. 26 when they perform for the Halloween dance at the Errington Hall.

The Palace Band combines vocals with a flash of trumpet and the thunder of drums to make old traditions new again, according to the Errington Hall website.

Drawing on their collective history of musical theatre, jazz programs and a wealth of other musical projects, the band has created a repertoire inspired by the jazz music of the 1920s to the 1940s.

The Palace Band is made up of Tom Bradbrooke (vocals and piano), Kevin Robinson (standup bass and vocals), Luke Sales (trumpet), James McRae (drums), Ashlee Sales (lead vocals) and Galen Mongeau (vocals and guitar).

Come in costume appropriate to the era and add to the fun.

The show starts at 8 p.m. and doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at Shades of Green, Errington Store and online at https://ErringtonHall.Tickit.ca.

Children ages six to 12 are $5 and teenagers are $15 at the door; free under age six.

Home baked goodies, ginger tea and Creekmore’s coffee will be available from the kitchen.
