The Cranbrook Senior Bandits kicked off June on Saturday, June 1, with a double-header against the Mission Valley Mariners. Great baseball weather, great baseball crowd, and great baseball.
The Bandits came back in Game 1 to force extra innings, but the Mariners prevailed 4-3. But the Bandits’ offence exploded in Game 2 — final score, 11-4 Cranbrook.
Meanwhile, the Junior Bandits B team had a great season opener down in Libby, Montana, winning both their games against the Libby Loggers.
The Senior Bandits are back in Confederation Park on June 14 for a double-header vs. Glacier, Montana. The Junior Bandits are in action next weekend at Confederation, taking on Mission Valley.
