Highway 3B between Warfield and Rossland is now open and became accessible at around noon on Thursday, June 26.
The RCMP sent out another release that stated, "Highway 3B between Warfield and Rossland is now re-opened in both directions.
"No further details of the incident are being provided at this time.
"We thank the public for their patience."
The RCMP sent out a release early Thursday morning announcing that the highway between Warfield and Rossland would be closed.
"On June 26, 2025, between 7:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Highway 3B between Warfield and Rossland will be closed due to a police incident," said RCMP Cpl James Grandy.
According to DriveBC, the time for the closure was extended to 11 a.m.
No details were provided, but will be updated when more information is available.
