Missing Mackenzie woman Alice Chingee was last seen in Quesnel, an update on her disappearance from the Mackenzie RCMP says.
Around the time of her disappearance, Chingee was dropped off south of Quesnel on Sales Road and planned to hitchhike to Vancouver, the RCMP update says.
Mounties are asking anyone who was driving along Highway 97 in mid-July of 2024 and has dash cam video to check it to see if it may have recorded Chingee. If they do have footage of Chingee or if anyone has any information on her whereabouts or have seen her, contact Mackenzie RCMP at 250-997-3288.
Chingee is described as:
- Indigenous female
- 62 years old
- 5’ 6 (168 cm)
- 150 lbs (68 kg)
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
- Last seen wearing a green T-shirt and grey pants with a purple sweater and carrying a large bag
