The San Pareil/Parksville studio tour is back for another year the weekend of July 12 and July 13.
Artists in and around the communities of Parksville and Qualicum Beach will open up their studios for two days to allow people to chat with them about how they create their artwork, according to a news release.
This year's tour will showcase 23 artists at 16 locations.
Some of the artists have again this year donated pieces and there will be a silent auction to raise funds to support a good cause.
"So come buy a piece of art and support someone in need of financial assistance," the release said. "In 2024 we donated $1,800 to a young family with two disabled children. This year we have a single mom with a disabled adult son who needs our assistance, so come out and help us support them."
The studio tour will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
One option is to pick up the brochure/map and start the tour at 856 Terrien Way.
Brochures will also be available in advance from the McMillan Arts Centre (MAC) at 133 McMillan St. in Parksville and The Old School House Arts Centre (TOSH) at 122 Fern Rd. in Qualicum Beach. They will also be available at the Qualicum Beach, Nanaimo, Ladysmith and Comox Valley visitor centres.
