Quadra Street between the Topaz Avenue and Hillside Avenue is closed as firefighters respond to a suspected structure fire in the 2700-block of Quadra Street on Monday, June 2.
According to neighbours and residents at the scene, residents of a residential building evacuated after hearing alarms at around 11 a.m., however, a reporter at the scene said there is no visible fire or smoke coming from the building.
About seven fire department apparatus have deployed to the scene, and a responding police officer confirmed there was a "potential structure fire."
