The City of Vernon is inviting residents to review and share feedback on its 2024 annual report.
The report includes audited financial statements, details on the city's revenues and expenses, and an update on strategic objectives from 2023 to 2026.
The report can be viewed online at vernon.ca/annualreport, or a copy can be requested at City Hall Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
People can provide feedback by attending an upcoming council meeting or by submitting written comments to swood@vernon.ca by 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 19. Council is set to schedule a public input session on Monday, June 23, to receive comments on the annual report.
"The city’s annual report meets all the criteria as legislated and best practices from the Government Financial Officers Association guidelines," a report to council states.
