The Lower Similkameen Community Services Society (LSCSS) is calling all vendors as they get set to celebrate the community.

LSCSS's Community Connectors put out a call last month for local businesses and artisans with unique and culturally inspired products, inviting them to showcase their goods and connect with the community at an upcoming multicultural bazaar. The Lower Similkameen Unity in Diversity Festival will take place on Sunday, June 1 from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Cawston Hall and grounds, and will celebrate the vibrant community of locals, newcomers and foreign workers.

"We're looking for vendors of all kinds, especially those who celebrate the rich diversity of our community," Community Connectors stated on their Facebook page. "Whether you offer handmade crafts, traditional clothing, art, or jewellery, we’d love to have you be part of this vibrant event."

Community Connectors also invited dancers to apply to showcase their cultural dances as well.

"Come share your culture, meet new people, and help us make this event unforgettable."
