A festive atmosphere greeted passengers and staff at Victoria International Airport's Pacific Coastal Airlines counter on Friday, May 9, to mark 25 years of connecting Vancouver Island to key destinations across British Columbia.
The airline, a vital link for inter-provincial travel since 2000, marked the milestone with balloons and cookies, celebrating its commitment to the region.

Currently, Pacific Coastal Airlines offers direct flights from Victoria South Terminal (YVR) to Vancouver with 20 weekly flights. They also provide 14 non-stop weekly flights to Kelowna (YLW) for access to the Okanagan Valley, six non-stop weekly direct flights to Kamloops (YKA) and seven non-stop weekly flights to Prince George (YXS).

Bruce Williams, CEO of the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce, also emphasized the airline's role in driving investment within the region.
