Port Alberni RCMP is asking for public assistance in locating Carlo Carpenedo, who hasn't been seen since April 14, 2025.
Carpenedo, 46, was reported missing on May 2; RCMP say it's not usual for him to be out of contact with his family for so long. Carpenedo only travels on foot, and likes to spend time outdoors.
Carpenedo is a Caucasian man, 46 years old, 188 centimetres tall (six-foot-two) and weighs 100 kilograms (220 pounds). He usually has a shaved head, but he could have short, shaggy, red hair and greying red facial hair styled in a goatee. His eyes are blue.
Anyone with information on Carpenedo's whereabouts is asked to contact their local police (in Port Alberni, the non-emergency number is 250-723-2424) or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
