Salmon Arm sets the tune of landmark contest with Treble Clef

Voting in Great Canadian Landmark Contest open till Aug. 15

Salmon Arm is looking to hit the high note in the Municipal World Great Canadian Landmark Contest.

The city entered the iconic Treble Clef in the contest, and is looking for votes for a win that would be music to the ears.

To encourage public participation, a sign has been added to the local landmark at 111 Lakeshore Drive NE, with directions and a QR code that takes users directly to the Municipal World website. Once at the website, simply put Salmon Arm as the location, provide a user name, and vote for the Treble Clef.

"Let's make some noise for the landmark that hits all the right notes in the heart of Salmon Arm," the city said in a social media post.

Voting is open until Aug. 15.
