Summer B.C. Transit service changes coming to Chilliwack, Agassiz-Harrison

B.C. Transit is implementing seasonal changes to routes in Chilliwack and Agassiz-Harrison effective June 29.

Seasonal transit changes are on the way to Agassiz-Harrison and Chilliwack. 

B.C. Transit announced on Monday (June 16) that there will be a seasonal service change effective June 29 on the Chilliwack and Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) Transit systems. 

In Agassiz-Harrison, Sunday service will be added to Route 71 Agassiz-Harrison, which travels between Chilliwack and Harrison Hot Springs during the summer until Labour Day (Monday, Sept. 1). 

Route 56 Cultus Lake returns for the summer months. Passengers will be able to travel between Promontory and the Cultus Lake Marina with some limited trips extending to Cottonwood Mall. 

School trips on Route 51 University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) are being removed for the summer. 

There will be minor time adjustments to Route 51 UFV and Route 54 Promontory to improve service reliability. 

B.C. Transit serves 54 million passengers every year in more than 130 communities outside Metro Vancouver.
