File 2013-344: On May 5, 2013, Bella Coola RCMP received a report of a stolen blue 1995 Ford Windstar van from Omo Ten Kai St (Top Rd) in Bella Coola. The van was located at Sir Alexander MacKenzie School with fresh damage and a flat tire.
File 2013-338: In the early morning hours of May 4, 2013, two windows at the Bella Coola RCMP Detachment were broken with thrown rocks. Persons with information or witnesses to the incident can provide their information in confidence to the detachment or anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
File 2013-359: May 10, 2013 Bella Coola Detachment investigated a single vehicle collision on Highway 20 just east of the townsite. The collision was determined to have occurred the night before, the vehicle flipped onto its roof and the driver exited on his own power. Other motorists attended promptly and ensured the driver was safe. The investigation concluded that speed and operator error were factors and a charge of Driving Without Due Care was issued.
