BC Wildfire Service is showing a 2.28 hectare wildfire burning in the west Chilcotin on May 13.
The fire is currently listed as out of control.
The suspected human-caused fire is described as southeast of Pelican Lake.
The fire appears to be approximately 5 km west of Anahim Lake, a small community 319 km west of Williams Lake on the Chilcotin Plateau.
No information is yet provided on what resources have been assigned to the fire, but suppression efforts are said to be underway.
A Category 2 and Category 3 fire ban are currently in place in the Cariboo Fire Centre area, including the Tsilhqot'in Title Area.
