Pursuant to Section 494 of the Local Government Act, we advise you that Council is scheduled to consider the issuance of a Temporary Use Permit for 226 Buller Street.

What is the Proposal About?

The purpose of the proposed Temporary Use Permit is to permit Temporary Accommodation use at 226 Buller Street to authorize a Short-Term Rental within a Secondary Suite. The term of the proposed Permit would be three years with the option to apply for one renewal.

The proposed Permit and related information may be viewed at City Hall located at 410 Esplanade Avenue, or the Development Services Office located at 132C Roberts Street, Ladysmith, BC, until Tuesday, May 6, 2025, between the hours of 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. After this time, Council may consider issuance of this Permit. The proposed Permit is also available at www.ladysmith.ca/cityhall/news-media/publicnotices/.

Council is scheduled to consider the issuance of the Temporary Use Permit on May 6, 2025 at 7:00pmat Ladysmith Seniors Centre, 630 2nd Avenue, Ladysmith, BC.
