The final step before the Fred Page Cup begins tonight (Friday) at the Chilliwack Coliseum.
The red-hot Chilliwack Chiefs, winners of five of their last six playoff games, welcome the Victoria Grizzlies for the Coastal Conference Final best-of-seven series.
The Chiefs host game one (Friday) and two (Saturday), with the series shifting to the provincial capital for games three and four on Tuesday (May 6) and Wednesday (May 7).
Chilliwack enters the series after dispatching the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in five games. They capped that series off with a dominant 7-1 win in Chilliwack on April 26. Chiefs forwards Brady Milburn, Caleb Elfering and Carter Anderson all had three-point nights in the series-clinching win.
Milburn leads all Chiefs players in the playoffs with 13 points in 11 games, while Elfering has recorded eight goals and is tied for second in the BCHL in that category. Chilliwack starting goalie Quentin Miller has been excellent with a save percentage of .934, a goals against average of 1.85 and one shutout in 12 playoff appearances.
The Chiefs also eliminated the Prince George Spruce Kings in seven games in round one.

Victoria enters the conference final after taking out the third-seeded Cowichan Valley Capitals in six games. Victoria eliminated the Coquitlam Express in six games in round one.
The Grizzlies opened up a 3-0 series lead on the Capitals, but then dropped the next two and edged Cowichan Valley 4-3 in game six on April 26. Victoria also went up 2-0 in round one, but then dropped games three and four. The Chiefs need to be aware that Victoria have been strong openers in these playoffs.
Victoria has been led offensively by Reegan Hiscock, who leads the BCHL in playoff scoring with 15 points in 12 games. Grizzlies forward Thomas Molson is tied for second in scoring with 14 points and leads all players with nine goals in 12 games. Victoria's Anderson Pirtle has also produced offensively with 13 points in 12 games.
Oliver Aueyung-Ashton has started nine games in goal for Victoria and has a .912 save percentage and a goals against average of 3.12. Another player to watch is forward Will Schumacher, who is tied for the playoff lead with 10 assists.
Victoria's power play is operating at a scorching 30.4 per cent in the playoffs, the best of the four teams remaining in the playoffs. Chilliwack's currently sits at 21.1 per cent, but the Chiefs penalty kill (87.2 per cent) has been far more effective than Victoria's (75 per cent).
The Chiefs and Grizzlies met four times during the regular season, with Chilliwack winning three of those games.
The Interior Conference final pits the Penticton Vees against the Brooks Bandits. The winner of that series will battle the winner of Chilliwack vs. Victoria for the Fred Page Cup.
