On Feb.15, junior curlers from Trail, Grand Forks, and Castlegar came together for a fun-filled day of curling at the Castlegar Curling Club's junior bonspiel. Six teams played a round-robin of three four-end games, then enjoyed lunch and prizes.
"This event provided a wonderful opportunity for young curlers in the West Kootenays to connect with each other and further their passion for the sport," said Castlegar junior curling organizer Barb MacKay. "Thank you to the parents, coaches, and sponsors who made the day a resounding success!"
