Shaw Centre’s Spectator Arena became the Magic Kingdom for the Salmon Arm Skating Club’s 62nd Annual Winter Carnival.
For the Friday, Dec. 15 event, the club performed Disney inspired choreographed routines, complete with costumes of familiar characters – or structures, as was the case with a routine inspired by the movie UP, for which one participant was dressed as the Fredricksen home. For the finale, some of the club’s dads got into costume and into the act.
