Cash and cheques stolen from Castlegar business

A business in the 2200 block of 14th Avenue was hit by a break and enter

A Castlegar business has been the victim of a break and enter.
 
On June 23, employees arriving at work at a business in the 2200 block of 14th Avenue discovered a broken window and that a theft had occurred.
 
According to RCMP, video surveillance showed an individual wearing dark clothing, while attempting to cover their face, enter the building through the window shortly after 5 a.m. Once inside, the suspect is seenm walking throughout the business.

Police are working with property representatives to identify stolen items which include Canadian currency, cheques to the business, and a grey Acer laptop. 
 
Alternative Choice Glass posted about the break and enter on their Facebook page, asking people to not cash any cheques made out to the business and for motorists to share any dashcam footage they may have from around the time of the crime.
 
The RCMP says the investigation is on-going and anyone with information should contact the Castlegar RCMP at (250) 365-7721.
