Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a snowfall warning for parts of Northern and Central B.C. Interior including the Cariboo.
Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected from Wednesday, Nov. 27 through to Friday, Nov. 29, midday.
Areas listed in the warning include Bulkley Valley, Williston, Stuart - Nechako, Prince George, McGregor, Cariboo, Pine Pass, Yellowhead and Yellowhead Highway - Tête Jaune Cache to the Alberta Border.
"A low pressure system over the Gulf of Alaska will bring snow," notes the Environment Canada warning.
There will be periods of light snow on Wednesday, expected to become consistent snowfall by evening.
The snowfall may be heavy at times on Thursday, with the system anticipated to move out of the region by Friday.
Environment Canada warns visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
