VicPD investigates 31 incidents of vehicle vandalism in Fernwood

The Victoria Police Department is investigating widespread vehicle damage in Fernwood.

A series of incidents of vehicular vandalism in Fernwood has prompted an investigation by the Victoria Police Department.

A passerby noticed 12 badly damaged vehicles near the 1400-block of Begbie Street on May 24 and contacted VicPD. 

The damage to the vehicles followed a pattern, mostly isolated to the passenger side mirrors. 

Investigators later identified an additional 19 vehicles that had been damaged, for a total of 31 vehicles damaged in what appeared to be the same incident. 

The vehicles were in the 1400-1600 block of Begbie Street, the 1100-1600 blocks of Pandora Avevnue, and the 1600-1700 blocks of Stanley Avenue. 

There is currently no suspect description and no leads on who may have caused the damage. 

Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, was affected, or who may have information to contact the E-Comm Report Desk at (250) 995-7654, extension 1, and reference file number 25-18846.
