Williams Lake RCMP looking for known property crime offender who fled traffic stop

Williams Lake RCMP are actively searching for a known property crime offender who fled after a traffic stop.

Police said Friday, Oct. 27 in a news release they are advising the public to be on the lookout for a 2008 grey Toyota Tacoma.

This vehicle was stolen from McLeese Lake on Sunday, Oct. 22, and is linked to a series of property crimes across the Cariboo region.

Anyone with information about this vehicle is asked to contact the Williams Lake RCMP at 250-392-6211.

“Please do not attempt to intervene,” noted the news release.
