UPDATE: High-risk West Kelowna teen safely located

The 15-year-old has been located, according to West Kelowna RCMP.

“Thank you to the media and public for assisting the police in locating this young woman,” said media relations officer Cpl. Allison Konsmo.

West Kelowna RCMP are searching for a 15-year-old and are asking for the public's assistance.

The West Kelowna teenager was last seen in a vehicle that was leaving the 3600-block of Carrington Road around midnight on June 3. 

Family last heard from the teen by phone on June 6. Police believe that the teen is now in West Kelowna and has been travelling between Kelowna and West Kelowna areas over the past few days. 

The teen is described as a Caucasian female standing about five foot three and weighing around 100 pounds. She has black hair that falls just below the shoulders, a small tattoo of hearts on her fingers, and a nose piercing. Willis was last seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt, brown sweat pants with black stripes down the sides and black rear pockets, and grey moccasin style boots. 

Anyone who sees the teen is asked to call 911 immediately. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call West Kelowna RCMP with file number 2025-31301.
